Infrastructure Capital Advisors announced today an increase in monthly distributions for two of its Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): the Infrastructure Capital Small Cap Income ETF (SCAP) and the Infrastructure Capital Equity Income ETF (ICAP). The company also declared a higher distribution for its Infrastructure Capital Bond Income ETF (BNDS). These changes reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to providing income-focused investors with accessible investment options.
The SCAP ETF, which focuses on small-cap U.S. equities with value characteristics, will see its monthly distribution increase by $0.005, rising from $0.200 to $0.205 per share. Similarly, the ICAP ETF will increase its monthly distribution by $0.005, from $0.200 to $0.205 per share. These increases translate to an annualized distribution of $2.46 per share for both ETFs. The distributions will be paid on September 30, 2025, to shareholders of record as of the close of business September 29, 2025.
Furthermore, the Infrastructure Capital Bond Income ETF (BNDS) has declared a monthly distribution increase of $0.334 per share, equivalent to $4.01 on an annualized basis. The distribution will also be paid September 30, 2025, to shareholders of record as of September 29, 2025.
The shift in distribution rates is driven by Infrastructure Capital Advisors’ strategy of seeking opportunities offering income potential. The firm’s approach centers on identifying and investing in small-cap U.S. companies that generate substantial cash flow, aligning with the needs of income-oriented investors. Jay D. Hatfield, Founder, CEO, and Portfolio Manager of Infrastructure Capital Advisors, leads the investment team, bringing over 30 years of experience to the fund’s management. As of the release date, Infrastructure Capital manages over $2 billion in assets.
Infrastructure Capital’s ETF lineup includes several other offerings, such as the Virtus InfraCap U.S. Preferred Stock ETF (PFFA), InfraCap REIT Preferred ETF (PFFR), InfraCap MLP ETF (AMZA), the InfraCap Equity Income Fund ETF (ICAP), and the Infrastructure Capital Bond Income ETF (BNDS). A word of caution surrounds these investments, recognizing that investing involves potential loss of principal and is subject to various financial risks including, but not limited to, interest rate fluctuations, credit risk, and market volatility.
Infrastructure Capital Advisors emphasizes a disciplined approach, often focusing on master limited partnerships and real estate investment trusts—entities that frequently generate and distribute considerable free cash flow. The firm’s stated goal is to deliver total return through a blend of capital appreciation and current income, prioritizing investments in companies with strong, predictable cash flows. Information about the funds’ distribution policies, the 2025 distribution calendar, and tax information is available on the funds’ respective websites. These ETFs are distributed by Quasar Distributors, LLC, and the BNDS and ICAP ETFs are distributed by VP Distributors, LLC, an affiliate of Virtus ETF Advisers, LLC.
